The Calgary Winter Club offers lifeguard training programs for our youth and teen members – from 5 years of age and up.
Is a new program for preschool children (5-8 years old) who are comfortable in the water and for those that want a different approach to swim lessons. This program will work on swim and safety skills in a fun atmosphere. The children will gain knowledge and skills through games, relays, obstacle swims, rope throw, and manikins. If your child is looking for a program that continues to work on their swimming skills, is possibly too young to continue to the Red Cross levels, or wants another variation to swim lessons, then this is a program that may be suitable for your child.
